Last week, Composite Software celebrated its fourth annual Data Virtualization Day, this time as part of Cisco Systems.
Mike Flannagan, Senior Director and General Manager of Cisco Systems, opened Data Virtualization Day 2013 with the theme that defined the event: innovation. “Regardless of what apps are creating data, all data is moving around,” said Flannagan. “[The] Internet of Everything is connecting the dots and joining together things that aren’t already connected: data [is] getting pushed farther and farther to the edge of the network.”
